Shelby Coffee carries her daughter Makayla, 4, wrapped in a blanket and out of her bedroom Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 at their home in Marysville. Makayla has lived with Coffee, her biological mother, since she regained custody on Nov. 16. Makayla has grown nearly four inches since July 2015 and is up to 33 pounds, from 17. "You can see just when you walk in that she's happy, she's home, she's in her environment 100 percent," Coffee said. On Jan. 29, Makayla's father, Andrew Maison, and stepmother, Hilery Maison, were convicted of first-degree felony murder in the May 2015 death of her 5-year-old sister, Mackenzie, as well as child abuse and torture charges.
